Golden Care Teak & Hardwood Cleaner is a water-based cleaner and brightener for weathered teak and other hardwoods. It is designed to remove dirt, lift dark grey weathering and help restore the fresher original look of the timber in one step.

Before You Apply

• Wear gloves and eye protection during application.
• Cover the ground under your work area before cleaning.
• Moisten the timber with water first.
• If you plan to apply Teak Protector or Teak Shield afterwards, make sure the timber is allowed to dry fully after cleaning.

How To Use

• Shake the bottle well before use.
• Apply the cleaner with a soft cloth or sponge.
• Allow it to soak into the surface briefly.
• Scrub the timber with a scrubbing pad in the direction of the grain.
• Rinse thoroughly with water.
• Leave the timber to dry fully before applying any follow-up treatment.

When To Use It

• Use it when teak or hardwood has become weathered, grey or discoloured.
• Use it before Golden Care Teak Protector if you want to restore a warmer timber colour.
• Use it before Golden Care Teak Shield if you want to protect the timber while keeping a more natural silver-grey look.
